Nonthawan “Maeya” Thongleng (born 1992) is a Thai actress, TV Presenter, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Thailand World 2014 and represented Thailand at Miss World 2014 placed top 11. Nonthawan’s selection as Miss Thailand World was unusual in that she had a darker complexion than most contestants. This sparked discussion regarding Thai society’s perceptions of skin colour and beauty.

Eve Pancharoen (Thai: อีฟ ปานเจริญ – born 7 August 1981), better known by her stage name Palmy (Thai: ปาล์มมี่), is a Thai-Belgian pop singer. She has recorded and released several albums including concert DVDs on the GMM Grammy label beginning with her self-titled solo debut, Palmy, in 2001. Palmy has explored a variety of popular music styles on each of her four solo albums, and has collaborated with the Thai ska band T-Bone to create experimental renditions of her hits (see Flower Power Concert and The Acoustic Album.) Neko Jump is a Thai idol unit that first debuted in September 2006. It is made up of two twin sisters – Noey (Real Name: Warattha Imraporn / Left ) and Jam (Real Name: Charattha Imraporn / Right). They were born on 10th December 1989, and are currently both college students. The nicknames ‘Noey’ and ‘Jam’ were given to them at birth, and mean ‘butter and jam’.
